Do you want to be more comfortable when speaking in front of an audience - large or small? Do you want to know how to WOW an audience with your organization and your presentation?
Good speakers are made - not born. Learning to speak confidently takes work. Remember: you can be as good a speaker as you want to be. You will be given tools. You will be taught how to use them. Allow yourself the opportunity to succeed. Give yourself time not only to prepare but to practice assignments.

Eight speaking exercises are customized to participants and will move you from insecurity to confidence.
Speaking With Confidence - Level Two
This course is for people who have successfully completed: Speaking With Confidence - Level 1 or a similar acceptable course. It is designed to build on the skills you learned in your first course.
Level 1 introduced the Six Steps and Eight Keys for speaking success as outlined in the book, Speak With Power by Betty K. Cooper. Level II will continue to use the book to further develop your skills.
The focus is on strengthening your Pow!-R-Speaking skills, organizing for maximum Pow!-R-Impact; learning to use words, action and visual aids to get your message across.
Level II includes:
- How to plan and present a presentation you would/could/will give to your organization.
- In-depth focus on the beginning of a presentation.
- The principles of visual aids - when to use them, how to use them, and what they should look like.
- How to effectively respond to questions related to Q&A session, following your presentations and those of other attendees.
- Be more effective when participating in meetings/discussions.
- Focusing for results.
This is a hands-on course. You will be recorded, critiqued, and encouraged throughout
the course. You will have opportunities to self-critique and give positive response to other participants.
